Prominent Leftist Thinkers

It is challenging to identify a single most influential thinker among modern-day leftists, as there are diverse perspectives and a range of influential figures within the leftist intellectual tradition. The left encompasses a wide spectrum of ideologies, including socialism, Marxism, anarchism, feminism, and various forms of critical theory. That said, several thinkers have had significant influence on modern-day leftists and their ideas. Some prominent figures include: 1. Karl Marx: Marx's ideas on class struggle, capitalism, and socialism have been foundational for leftist thought. His works, such as "The Communist Manifesto" and "Capital," continue to shape the understanding of economic and social inequality. 2. Michel Foucault: Foucault's work on power, knowledge, and the construction of social institutions has been influential among leftists. His ideas have been applied to understanding various forms of oppression and social control.

We'll Kill You if You Disagree

Power for the sake of power by John Russell Turner, May 21, 2019 In this post, I am making no attempt to try to convince Leftists to change their minds about their beliefs. The useful idiot Leftists have a plan that will benefit all of humanity, insure equality, and advance the evolution of humanity to new and better levels. Because Leftists proclaim to care about the plight of the poor, the oppressed, and the down-trodden, they beli...

Class Warfare...Again?

When will the Left come up with some fresh ideas? They're trottting out their Marxist class warfare schemes...again! Very recently, there's been a lot of focus in the mainstream media on the class warfare concept, a term used by key Republicans to describe Obama's economic strategy. "Class warfare" originated as a Marxist term. It was used to describe  what would happen when the poor got sick and tired of being exploited by the rich. "Workers of the world unite!" In popular parlance, it refers to political rhetoric that appeals to envy and resentment. It goes something like this: "Joe the Millionaire pays a lower percentage of taxes than his secretary!" "The rich have to pay their fair share of taxes, too. And they should be willing to pay more, since they're rich enough. A few extra dollars won't hurt them!"
