This is what's happening in the UK right now. Farmers are being pushed off their farms. Why?
The new inheritance tax in the UK is a bizarre attempt to force farming landowners to sell their land. Similar attempts to force farmers off their land are also taking place in The Netherlands and elsewhere. The reason most often stated for this is to protect the environment from the ravages of farming. The real reason is the land grab, so they can build wind and solar power generators-in order to slow and eventually stop global temperature fluctuations and climate change. This situation in Europe illustrates why politics suck: a group of people-farmers- are being legally robbed by another group of people-leftist activists. This group of people also want to see the population of the Earth drastically reduced, which is why the consequences of their farming policies-famine and death-does not bother them at all. Too many people causing harm to "The Planet". If there are food riots, then that provides an excuse for the government to swoop in with their power and so clamp down on the populace. Merely for the sake of the power to do so. A careful examination of the idea that man-made emissions are causing the global temps to rise-and eventually destroy human civilization-shows that "global warming" is a hoax, a scam, a lie told in order for the leftist elitists to get what they want. A very large amount of people are going to starve to death under these policies designed to combat a non-existent threat.
