Reason and God

Reason is indeed the appropriate way to understand the Universe, including the existence of God. As Thomas Jefferson so eloquently said:

Fix Reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than of blindfolded fear. ... Do not be frightened from this inquiry by any fear of its consequences. If it end in a belief that there is no God, you will find incitements to virtue in the comfort and pleasantness you feel in its exercise and in the love of others which it will procure for you. -- (Thomas Jefferson's Works, Vol. ii., p. 217, from a letter to his nephew, Peter Carr)

Reason, expressed in science, has lead me (and many others) to conclude that life was created by an Intelligence. Watch the following video to get an overview of the Intelligent Design theory:

I am convinced that life was created; furthermore, I am convinced that this creator is the God of my ancestors as expressed in Judeo-Christian theology. I will be writing much more on this topic in the future. Please comment whether you agree or disagree with all of this or part of this.
